Whether your working theory is that space is too big for rapid space travel between the stars, or that civilisations older than humanity can reach us relatively easily, then you are extrapolating from our limited knowledge in order to predict what the rest of the intelligent universe is doing.
Both scenarios are based on a weak premise, however, the UFO field has some very intriguing cases.
Anyone with an ounce of true curiosity (that isn't overwhelmed by protecting personal interest), would be intrigued by the history of Ufology. We're still children, gazing up at the stars, even if some of us are wrinkly infants.
