"House Holds Hearing on UFOs and Government Transparency Transcript"
Quote from the transcript:
Ryan Graves: "Parts of our government are aware of more about UAP than they let on, but excessive classification practices keep crucial information hidden."
David Fravor sums it up perfectly: "Do we wanna not do anything? And just hope they're nice?" (David Fravor's comment in "Unidentified" (S1, E2) (HISTORY) at 37:13.)
Well I am glad that some are looking into this aspect so that we can get a better picture of the ramifications regrading the overused term 'Transparency' on UFOs. Others have looked into this as well incl R. Dolan in his book A.D. After Disclosure. Most are just speculations, but to have some real data on this analysed from a neutral viewpoint is very welcome news. My own view (currently) is that unless there is some totally disruptive cosmic event concerning the subject, that most will just move along with their lives and their own believes that were prior to a real Disclosure. When humans do not see the 'effect' to their own lives from an external source they may just choose to ignore it. Many many examples of this exist today. However, as outlined in Billy's article, I am glad there are some willing to dive deeper into how UFO transparency might affect the populations etc.
As I read this, I am reminded how many government/political match the issues you bring up. Knowing the truth is fearful but also just what we need, Mr. Trump believers.
They're purposefully spoon feeding disclosure to the average Joe's. And that began in earnest in 2017.
Grusch is just another disinfo agent like Elizondo and Mellon.
The reason they're doing it is to setup a potential scary PsyOp involving hostile ET's... that they can add to their quiver of control arrows so that it can be pulled out if the need arises.
The fact that these individuals carried out an intelligent survey shows how attitudes are changing. That alone is a positive indicator.
To be crude, we procreate. It's not like people live forever. Our species adapts very well to change, in part because a new baseline is created every generation (possibly a good thing in this instance).
Individuals live though far more traumatic (personal) events than the relatively simple possibility of discovering that aliens are here.
I think the biggest impact will be to egos, discovering we're at the bottom of the advanced civilisation league (the guys who are always the last to discover that other alien life is out there). And don't underestimate the value of apathy; plenty of that around to act as a cushion.
Agreed. Unless whatever's out there dramatically enhances its engagement or visibility, it's hard to imagine extracting the majority of Americans from their little mirrors anymore. The footprints of climate change are far more conspicuous than those of NHI, and we roll with damn near anything -- mass shootings in schools and churches, grocery stores, movie theaters, Independence Day parades, etc. This numb space we're in right now is hard earned.
"...we’re still in awe over how many people aren’t paying attention or giving it much thought.” This says it all. IMO unless horrendous disclosure includes video of aliens, craft or alien dead bodies, most people won't give a damn. A scary looking the alien, dead or alive, will generate more of a response. If they appear harmless, many will just grunt and switch the channel. If an alien craft looks warlike, akin to the Klingon Bird of Prey or just appears evil, that may generate a response. Otherwise, I don't think many people give a damn.
The objects in this video are almost identical to the ones we saw in 1974.
Both in appearance and actions.

And what would Fravor suggest "we" "do"?
Larry, why don't you ask David Fravor that question?
I'd love to, Alfred.
Do you have his contact info?
University of Houston.

Done.
The odds of him answering my question are slim and none.
But I'll let you know if he does.

Well, where we are now is untenable. The fuse is burning.

Really interesting piece Billy.

I kinda like being regarded as in the low rung of the hierarchy of advanced civilization
Without further ado, I have to run to the Dollar General Store so I can shoplift some toilet paper

That's why we need more data -- as much as we can get.
>shrug< Only 434 respondents? I dunno, Billy ...
Versus, say, zero respondents. It's a start.
