I sure hope neurodiversity does break the UFO logjam because it won't be the MSM. I haven't been in the news business for 20 plus years and I'm stumbling across ledes to potential sources. If I can find this stuff where's the NYT and WaPO?

The NYT and WaPo have to decide if they want to stay relevant on this issue. And at some point, inevitably, they'll have to start investing resources because relevance on UFOs will yield to discussions about credibility on other fronts.

Then, there may be people neurotypically resistant to accept reality when it presents itself as different from what they are used to. They would reject it to preserve their comfort. And (neuro atypical or not) there would also be those open to however (and wherever) reality presents itself to them with reasonable evidence and what they reject foremost is lying to themselves.

Humanity needs the latter to be shown how to adapt if (as it seems to be the case) it’s time to evolve/shift summoned by a combination of “wicked problems” and a closer relationship with a much more comprehensive, universally connected, and magical-meaningful reality.

Let’s welcome Truth and change! Grow into a better species. Better to do it by ourselves. Let’s let go off fear and prejudice and selfishness, and limiting thoughts… also based on fear…from our sense of disconnection.

We need to face reality. Together. I am certain it would be mostly good. Join the Mystery.

The possibilities you raise in your first graf are certainly plausible. I would hope the IC's screening procedures could identify those sorts of personality inhibitors on the front end.

As one of the neurodiverse members of the aliens and anomalous phenomena research community, I can tell you that 'we' (my fellow non-typicals) often view the wider community with some frustration. It seems like we are the one-eyed in the land of the blind, able to see the patterns and hidden jems amidst the mess. At present I am the only aliens researcher offering physical objective support for alien visitation and genetic intervention, something that came from having the ability to remember and parse big data with some ease. Most of the people that 'get' my work are also neuro-diverse folks able to see what i am seeing in the data.

I suspect everyone has a piece of the puzzle. Maybe you have more pieces than most.

That sounded pretty disgusting - is this panel a regular thing or was it a one-off character assassination?

I wasn't impressed by the comment implying that Grusch wouldn't know if he was being lied to - the situation demanded action whether he suspected deceit or not, especially when multiple individuals were telling him the same thing (which is pretty much what Rubio said). That approach is also unbiased, as it seeks more information, rather than assuming one knows the answer. Everybody makes mistakes, whatever sits between the ears. It also suggests that the conscious application of logic fills in for the absence of any specific, subconscious cognitive function.

Brains aren't the problem, its the other more 'human' traits that cause issues.

They've been around for awhile, 100M views and something like 800K subscribers. They do a lot of true crime/celebrity stuff. Agreed -- the situation demanded action. A lot of their jabs at Grusch revealed more about them than Grusch.
