Funny that the spooks like Brendan know all the body-reading techniques but can't stop themselves from betraying their own deception with body language.
An interesting amalgam of incidents and mysteries, Billy. Poignant, as always.
- Regarding Brennan's cryptic comment (second only to Rumsfeld's "...there are things we don't know we don't know...") one significant aspect I think many overlooked was the fact that it was the first time...ever...a former CIA director spoke publicly about the Phenomenon, and not in a dismissive manner. After all, seventy years ago the CIA was instrumental in creating the UFO stigma, the Great Taboo ( Robertson panel, Cronkite's program "UFOs: Fact or Fiction," putting the word out to national media to change the tone of their coverage to debunking and ridicule, etc.)
Decades of citizen frustration, anger, pain, humiliation and reticence can be laid at their door. This should never be forgotten.
So, to see a former director speak pseudo-candidly about the subject was a historical moment for UFO world. Does he foresee an inevitable revelation just down the road?
- The rectangular and window pane UFOs are still being seen and reported to MUFON and NUFORC. Not as frequently as glowing cigar shapes and clusters, but still here.
I've been fascinated with the paranormal and UFOs for as long as I can remember. The statistical evidence for PSI is solid and the most interesting UFO cases are the ones that include apparent non-human technology reacting to, or interacting with, witnesses; sometimes including entities.
It's the stark division between incidents of 'anomalous personal perception' and 'multi-witness technological UFOs' that is most significant to me, seemingly pointing at two separate (but overlapping) phenomena.
Multiple somethings that 'manufacture stuff' appear to be here, intertwined with perception-inducing phenomena. The latter may be more connected to us than to anything else.
It only keeps getting more interesting as the years go by. We don't get any smarter though, as a species.
Yep. And it gets easier and easier to relate to the IC folks who want to keep a lid on it. I mean, what are they supposed to say about the incomprehensible? What CAN they say?

Clearly, The Great Wheel has turned.

There have never been any guarantees that disclosure would be a positive development.
There may very well be valid, and dire, reasons to keep this thing secret. As noted, as time goes on this seems more likely.
No guarantees of anything, not even life. Point taken. Fucking up is what we do. Maybe this time, as they say, it'll be different.
