This article addresses the yawn factor that I've been noticing from regular folks since all of this legacy media exposure lately.

"Even the Aliens Are Boring"

https://charleshughsmith.blogspot.com/2023/08/even-aliens-are-boring.html

"Transforming what could be the biggest story in history into a boring committee meeting devoid of any real evidence is quite an accomplishment. As Tommy opined, what would qualify as "interesting" would be Presidents Xi, Putin and Biden appearing on stage together to announce a global consortium to deal with the alien presence, and video of recovered alien bodies and spacecraft wreckage.

Instead, we got a boring committee meeting with sworn testimony, i.e. a nothing-burger of rehashed pilot accounts from the New York Time's 2017 report."

Consider the possibility that this is being kept "secret" is because those who have assigned themselves the task of "knowing" actually haven't a clue, despite whatever debris they may have collected and how much they may have spent. It may be be so many millennia beyond them, and us, that most of it will remain an unsolved mystery for ages to come--as in the past.

Right -- and it'd be interesting to see how much money they've spent on being so clueless.

Billy, let’s hope the House establishes a UAP Select Committee.

Bob Salas, and others, have told us why America must establish such a committee.

The Representatives who work on the UFO issue have done some great work. And these Representatives have promised to never cease and desist.

Here you’ll find Rep. Tim Burchett’s letter to Speaker Kevin McCarthy about this issue (Twitter post):

Billy, apropos the 2010 Gulf of Mexico UFO/USO video footage.

A few seconds before the main UFO/USO video footage, a possible USO (with blinking lights) can be seen in the documentary film (at 12:52).

Stupendous hearings!

Witnesses and Representatives — thank you!

The hearing put Sean Kirkpatrick on the spot. He's said AARO has not seen any verifiable evidence, and when Grusch was asked point blank about Kirkpatrick's statement he came this close to calling Kirkpatrick a liar. Another he said/he said moment, along with the Davis/Wilson kerfuffle, that makes this the best soap opera ever.

Yeah, I'm lovin' the comments about how mainstream media is fueling the fires of disclosure to distract from a, b, or c. They're blowing it off, because, as Terry knew, they have ties to the Pentagon. And thanks for the mention of Terry. He would sure be diggin' it, or is diggin' it, wherever he is, as you say!

Thank you, again and again, for the outpouring of FACTS. Shame is a powerful weapon to use if one wants to suppress information and deflect away from core secrets. We do well to remember that, once Einstein did thumbs down to quantum physics, potent, career-ending shame was directed toward anyone exploring that approach to understanding the universe. Once orthodoxy sets in, the leaders in a field or proponents of a worldview view new (anomalous) possibilities as mortal threats to any achieved superiority.

Not surprised to see you burning the midnight oil on this! Thanks for a great perspective. I just caught clips of the hearing. Was interested in the general public take. Comments all over the ball park. Unfortunately the UFA issue attracts more members of the Tin Hat Brigade than either the Kennedy assassination or collapse of the Twin Towers. The were out in full force. I trust they didn't overshadow more thoughtful comments. Stay the course, Billy :-)

I loved it. Cynics and debunkers can split hairs about some of the details, but overall, the hearings shed light on the most important topic of our lives and the lives of multiple generations before us.

Two historical events in one. The executive and elected branches of government, are trying through a bipartisan effort to wrestle control of the country back from the Pentagon. It's not just about ufos.

It's like the body of the American people have discovered they have a parasite. It's not abstract or a rumor. Grush has names and places to look.

I feel certain Terry's diggin' it, wherever he is. Would love to have gotten his thoughts on the NYT/WaPo coverage, which was tardy and glib.

Obviously the evidence outside of this hearings testimony is to be had in a classified setting or SCIF. Even if that happens there may be very little that the Congressional members can tell the public. However it is a step in the right direction. Hopefully this will still play out in a bi-partisan manner, but if we get closer to the truth(s) you really wonder if that will continue. The White House is totally silent and beholden to much of the defense industry partly now due to the Ukraine situation. As Richard Dolan believes, there is a factional war going on with this subject. Where that takes us is still up in the air. (A pun?)

Let's bear in mind what Burchett advised last week when he announced yesterday's hearing: Follow the financial disclosure forms. Me, I'm keeping an eye on Tennessee's Andy Ogles. In his questioning, he seemed to be hitting the "national security" angle in a way that I inferred to mean keeping a lid on things. Last I read, he was being hounded by Knoxville media for failing to report his financials to the SEC during the 2022 campaign. That, and being the George Santos of the South for making shit up about his academic background.

Expand full comment

Which statement is true?

Grusch went to the IG to report harassment, period, and that's what the IG is signing off on. Or he went there for that and spilled all the other info on retrievals, etc.

Wanted to clear this up before getting back to the more important question of what these things are.

Expand full comment

He blew the whistle on the secret program(s) to the ICIG and had legal support from a firm that included an ex-IG (or something of the sort). However, when he came to file his harassment claim he had legal support from someone else entirely. (Sorry - rubbish on the details, but you get the general idea). There were news pieces covering the change in his legal support at the time; probably still out there.

Coulthart has clarified that the finding of 'credible and urgent' related to the secret program(s) and that the IG interviewed other witnesses independently to reach that finding.

It's really quite amazing how slow this works when you think back to Mellon promoting the Nimitz incident in 2017 - yet it only took about a dozen questions from one particular member of Congress, during the current hearing, to decide there was a real problem.

They have ties to the Pentagon. They worry about immediate access to Pentagon cleared material about war, for example. Or, being "embedded with the troops." Also, many people who work for MSM are literally operatives for letter agencies including, of course, Defense Intelligence.

I think it has more to do with conservative media leading the charge on this. Tucker Carlson lead the charge on this at that network until he was shit canned. I think his role in this issue and NewsMax right wing cred have blunted CNN and MSNBC's coverage. I'm worried those trying to play down this story will try to make it a red/blue story. A Politico report on this had thw writer reporting that Tim Burchett called Biden the devil. I watched the hearing and he wasn't referring to Biden. It's dumb-shit like this which can change the narrative.

Def. This issue is too important to politicize. And however much we may disagree with political rivals, for the good of this country, we all need to hold our noses and adopt tunnelvision if we have any hope of wrapping our minds around this thing.

Dana Millbank is such a dick! I know he;s an opinion writer but his column in the WaPo today completes negates AOC and Raskin from participating and paints the entire hearing as a MAGA, crazy Republican conspiracy fest. This is why I always criticized LE, Leslie K. and other for always appearing on Fox. If they want to kill this all they need to do is drive a wedge using politics.

When it comes to UFOs, Milbank's just lazy AF, and he's been this way at least since The Idiot Prince was in the White House. No mention of Grusch's claim that we have recovered "non-human biologics”?

It seems to me that was intended to be the big public revelation during this particular act of the Kabuki UFO/ET theater.

As to the billion$ unaccounted for going down the DoD monetary black holes. That's decades old news that Eisenhower warned about in the late 50's, and it looks like a political diversion.

Expand full comment

This might be one of the few times, the typical left versus right Kabuki was not in effect and some honest questioning, without preconceived notions or politicizing of the subject matter, took place.

Expand full comment

I wasn't referring to the left versus right Kabuki theater.

What I'm referring to is the Kabuki theater that encompasses this entire sudden disclosure and transparency act after decades of suppression.

As Caitlin Johnstone accurately points out. The 2017 NYTimes article coinciding with the 2017 Space Force announcement, is more than a little suspicious. Then you add in the obvious fact that the US DoD is doing everything it can to create another cold war between the US, China, and Russia, and you have to be an idiot not to see through this BS.

"So why now? Why the drastic and sudden shift from UFOs and aliens being laughable tinfoil hat nonsense to the subject of serious congressional inquiries and widespread mainstream media coverage?"

Just read dear Miss Johnstone's tweets. There are likely multiple agendas behind the drive to disclose, but her hypothesis is flawed.

The Pentagon is pushing back against disclosure. They are not for it. The hearings yesterday, were set up to do an end run around the brick wall the Pentagon erected.

If they are looking for epic funding for a new cold war, they are going about it in a strange way. Unless....(insert dramatic music score here) they've set up the appearance of obstruction, to further trick everyone LOL. That would be a conspiracy about a conspiracy, about a conspiracy.

Expand full comment

If they are "pushing back against disclosure" then why did the Pentagon form a UFO task force and publicly announce that they had done so?

Answer: Because it's an act (Kabuki theater) that allows them to control the narrative. The appearance of obstruction is a classic keep them on their heels strategy.

Likewise, the entire Elizondo, DeLonge, TTSA, Mellon, show would have never been allowed to come into existence were it not for the Pentagon and the Intel Agencies allowing it to happen. Elizondo would have been eliminated from the picture immediately if they were intent on never allowing any of this to see the light of day. This is all being carefully orchestrated, and the politicians are just useful idiots.

A clown like Delonge being allowed to meet with the head of Skunkworks doesn't make you suspicious?!

BTW, the Pentagon is getting all the funding they want from Congress to prosecute their cold war strategy. So, that's not even a factor.

Actually, Larry, the Pentagon could've "controlled the narrative" with phony acronyms anytime it wanted over the past 54 years. The only reason it established the UAPTF was because it was under political pressure to answer congressional questions. The only reason it was under political pressure was because Elizondo managed to fudge the UFO vids by referring to them as "UAV, Balloons, and other UAS" in the subject field in order to get them cleared for public release. He and Mellon essentially performed an end run around the bureaucracy and that's why we're having hearings now. For the first time since the beginning of the coverup, the Pentagon is finally on its heels.

Expand full comment

Elizondo and Mellon are Intel plants.

Remember the meta-materials that TTSA clearly stated they were getting from Bigelow, that they never got from Bigelow? Typical bobbin' and weavin' from Spooks.

Delonge is just a useful idiot.

If you believe that the NYTimes article and the formation of the Space Force happening in the same year is just a coincidence, then you're officially a Coincidence Theorist.

But we shall see...
