The artwork is sophisticated and simply delightful! Thank you. News flash to Ken Burns: Human nature did change maybe 15-25,000 years ago, before recorded history, from being peaceful, generous, egalitarian, leaderless, fully integrated as a part of nature, to where we are today. We lost crucial group early "womb-like" care of infants and toddlers when we became farmers. But our DNA has not changed. To leave violence (and winning-losing) behind, we need to return to a position of radical equality. (See https://evolvednest.org)
There’s zero evidence that earlier humans were peaceful, etc, though I agree that humans are wildly different today. Even more, there is no universal “humanity” in the first place. The Han Chinese are very different from the, say, Australian Aborigines. There is no universal human psyche.
That’s one of the facts that makes me lean toward the Crypto hypothesis-a much earlier evolutionary track, but on the same earth with similar ecological niches to experience selection.
There has been a sea change in the research on our fundamental nature over the past two+ decades. I'm developing a newsletter that will be explaining this but in the meantime, you might want to check out https://evolvednest.org, started by Dr. Darcia Narvaez, now Emerita from Notre Dame. Some of her published research is available there, along with a huge amount of informational-educational materials for the general pubic and for health professionals.
It's an attractive idea. If they're indeed cohabitating our planet, it would explain -- more so, I think, than ETs -- why they're so engaged. Maybe they're choking on plastic and sewage.
Catching up after being out of commission for a bit. I'll leave all the tech stuff to those of you who understand it. The sentence that leaped out to me was talking about the commercializing and weaponizing space and Ken Burns' comment about human nature. Looking at the present state of affairs, need I mention last night's debate? Who is or will be in charge of investigating and dealing with this phenomenon? One can't help but think we're way beyond our expiration date.
Candid revelations about the UFO issue might well bring the rafters down. Maybe that's the only thing that can trigger a long overdue reckoning with our broken system.
Thank you for this (and all your previous articles) The LEAP Show looks very interesting. I'm based in Ireland so I thankfully from your wonderful words and photos I got a good sense of the exhibition. Have a great weekend, P.
Sometimes it seems that the ETH came with a time-out or a statute of limitations, but it has at least equal standing (as a theory) to ultra-terrestrials.
One extreme of the ultra theory is based on the mythical djinn, non-corporeal beings of incredible power that can manifest whatever they want, whenever they want it. But it would seem that they have a limited fixation manifesting 'alien' craft and possibly crypto-zoological entities.
Another extreme would be an extension of the ETH, where the ETs are DNA based (or similar, if similar is possible), but located in an alternate reality, with identical laws of nature and the ability to fly through the divide.
Ultimately, the question comes down to 'how real are they?' Do the visitors consistently exist in a state similar, or identical, to us; or are they an unknown phenomenon in their own right (a perspective that could encompass the creations of an alien AI as well).
It could be all of the above, given how little we still know.
As Matthew Szydagis pointed out at the SCU conference, he subscribes to the ETH because it's the only hypothesis that comes with a potential database, i.e., 5k-plus exoplanets and counting. While the military/IC's refusal to confirm the increasingly obvious is despicable and quite possibly illegal, I do occasionally empathize -- in a limited way -- with the gatekeepers. I mean seriously, how many reassuring and creative ways are there to say, "This shit is so bizarre, our sensors actually expand the suspect list, not sharpen it -- but don't worry, they're not incinerating our cities"?
You can be sure of one thing..The military/MIC don't take Congress seriously
We will never see anyone from the Pentagon or MIC testify under oath at congressional hearings regarding UAP/UFO subject matter. They will legally maneuver and shield witnesses privy to the gatekeepers. If that fails they will find a judge sympathetic to their cause, specifically one presiding in in Mike Turner's federal district.
After 911 and the Patriot Act gave the spooks everything they ever wanted, they stopped giving any sort of real credence to any objections to anything that comes at them from the Congress or the Executive Branch.
What they're allowing their approved whistleblowers to spill is just the tip of the iceberg. The reason for that is now very obvious.
Billy, thanks for the info about the LEAP exhibition. It's less than an hour's drive from my home but this is the first I've heard about it. I hope to visit it before it closes. It sounds fascinating, with a vibe similar to Douglas Curran's book "In Advance of the Landing: Folk Concepts of Outer Space."
I don't know that book -- I like the title. Lower your expectations for the LEAP exhibition. It's an understated presentation, but I'd like to think it could be the beginning of something bigger.
Gramps and his dog would be good introductory content for an updated return version of the "far side " calendar.. Seriously, Hal Puthoff wrote a compelling OP-ED a few years ago questioning if the ultraterrestrial hypothesis should be given a plausible second look, as opposed to the prevalent ETH.
Apropos UFOs over factories.
UFOs are often seen over factories.
In 1979, a UFO was seen over the Audi factory in Ingolstadt, West Germany.

Imagine the wallop it would pack if Burns put together a series on the history of this issue.
Yes. An excellent idea. Thank you.

CT's infiltrating the US Air Force to keep things quiet with talk of demons. Hmm.

I'll take "all of the above" for $300, Alex.

Look no further than the Space Force.

Makes sense to me.
I'm guessing that Hal knows a lot more about the UTH now, than he did 3 years ago.
