Well, I heard the Senate Intelligence Committee received their briefing on UAP. How long will it take for additional info to leak out?

"Imagine the sheer audacity it took to selfishly cling to UFO secrecy. This meant that multiple generations believed that it was their right to keep the American people ignorant of this mysterious presence. Consider the mentality required to conclude that the best way to deal with UFOs would be to ensure most elected officials are ignorant of this reality and that the American people, hundreds of millions of us, should intentionally be led to believe the entire subject is nonsense" - https://medium.com/on-the-trail-of-the-saucers/ufo-truth-85cc0057a7b8

Is Shostock paying Colavito, or vice versa??.. Sigh.!!!. Whenever the reality of this topic is covered by a portion of the elite news media, they immediately turn to their "go to guys" to dispel the need to take the topic seriously.. Hint... from reading some of the Randle and Greenewald blogs, its clear that the release of information will be of a "weasel like" mentality..Randle refers it as a Condon 2.0..You should review the linked in page of the Pentagon's spokesperson, Susan Gough After a military career as a sworn officer she returned to school to become a "strategic planner and influencer. Humm., isnt that interesting and relevant. I would envision that Elizondo retained and printed copies of his internal communications.. .He envisioned and probably had the wherewithal to foresee that he was a marked man due to power plays and backstabbing within the very department that he was employed in.. Its a more subtle version of tribal warfare

Alas, poor Shostak. He's sounding more and more like the subset who believe the first moon landing was faked. I wouldn't call it "balance" when you bring on a guy whose decades of effort and hundreds of millions spent produced absolutely... zilch. In any other field: a loser.

Don't forget that the AAWSAP contract was triggered (allegedly) by someone visiting Skinwalker Ranch and, excepting for the 37 tech reports, the research carried out by BAASS (as reported on by George Knapp and others) was pretty fringe. The AAWSAP contract has all the appearance of being tailored for BAASS to win and for that new company to investigate the Skinwalker Ranch phenomena. Luck was not a factor.

But then, we have to balance 'gaming the system' and reasonable justification for that research, against the establishment's blind spot when it comes to the paranormal.

(But I'd still like to see an expenditure breakdown, and to know what happened to the facility that was going to be built.)

Colavito reminds me of a snarky political operative who will grab any mud, fling it and hopes it sticks. He's an angry asshole. Neil makes too much damn money to go out on a limb. He won't acknowledge it until one lands on his front lawn. Pogue was perfect for CNET and the NYT tech page (when they had a tech page) but he's smug and therefore annoying. I can't stand him when he hosts Nova on PBS. I hope Nova drops him from that show because every time he comes on I change the channel or delete that episode from the DVR. There's lazy reporters all over the medium spectrum and Pogue is one of them.
